About Me
Born in Washington D.C. in 1963.
Growing up, I hung out at the Smithsonian, National Gallery, Hirshhorn, Museum of Natural History, Dunbarton Oaks, Glover Archibold Park, and other amazing spots in the city.
These places, and the experiences I had in them, profoundly impacted my experience and perception of the world, forging tactile, conceptual, and spiritual connections between creativity, art, science, and nature.
I make art with most anything I get my hands on.
I schooled at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, and earned a Bachelors of Fine Art in 1985.
I earned an MA in Education in 2001.
I taught Art in alternative public high schools for 25 years.
Now I work for the city.
I live in Colorado and I love the sky here.
